The Association of Turkish Consulting Engineers and Architects (ATCEA), a member of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), successfully hosted the EFCA Annual General Assembly and Conference in Istanbul on 4–5 June 2026.

The event brought together representatives from 25 European countries and more than 150 participants. Activities commenced with the EFCA Future Leaders Meeting and General Assembly, followed by a Bosphorus reception welcoming international guests to Istanbul. Held under the theme *“Rethinking Resilience: Rebuilding Europe to Withstand Climate and Security Threats”*, the Conference featured opening remarks by ATCEA President Kerim ORHON and EFCA President Innes FERGUSON, alongside keynote speeches from senior representatives of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union Delegation.

The programme included panel discussions on Europe’s major challenges, the reconstruction of Ukraine, and engineering services for security, as well as B2B networking sessions.
